Thinking of relocating to North Carolina. I want to be close to the coast. Looking for an area that is….?
middle class, culturally diverse, not too urban, but not too country. I don’t want to travel 20 min. if I need something like milk. Stuff should be close by, not necessarily walking distance, but close enough to be convenient.
Anyone from NC, know of somewhere they think would fit what I want? I want to do real estate searches online to see what my options are.
Try Greenville, NC or Wilmington, NC. Both of these towns have Universities, so they have diverse culture and a lot of middle to upper class. They are both fairly large, but are spread out and not what most people would consider urban. They both pretty much have everything you could want (movie theatres, malls, etc.) Wilmington is on the coast, and Greenville is about 1 hr 30 mins away. Both areas are VERY country once you get outside the city.
